Mozaffarian - a highly respected family in Iran - has been involved in the fine art of jewellery for over one hundred and fifty years (since 1840). The name Mozaffarian has become synonymous with quality and trust. Today, the members of this extended family are involved in the same business across the globe. In countries such as Canada, Britain, Germany and the United States they continue to honor their family’s heritage. | | | | Morteza Mozaffarian's old shop | Haj Mohammad Hassan Mozaffarian | Morteza Mozaffarian, Manochehr Mozaffarian | Manouchehr Mozzaffarian (born 1937) is the oldest son of Morteza Mozaffarian who is the eldest son of Mohammad Hassan Mozaffarian. Manouchehr Mozzaffarian started his work under the guidance of his father in Tehran’s grand Bazaar. Morteza Mozaffarian, who owned the most renowned jewellery stores in Iran, continued to train and guide many jewelers throughout his career and it can be said - without hesitation - that today’s greatest jewelers in the country have been guided by this great master jeweler.
Morteza Mozaffarian, who knew of his son’s abilities entrusted the management of his largest and most prestigious store, (a 6 story store in Tehran’s Lalezar district) to Manouchehr. The store continued to be the largest and the most important jewellery store in the country.
In 1982 - with help from his two sons: Mohammad Ali and Mohammad Reza - Manouchehr Mozaffarian, opened a new gallery in the Esteghlal hotel (former Hilton), showcasing some of his finest pieces into a unique collection. We invite you to view this collection on this site and to visit our gallery whenever you are in town. |
